Mission:

Chase the Horizon is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to education, skill development, and professional pathways that empower individuals to serve their communities through public safety, emergency medical services, and leadership.

We exist to reduce unnecessary barriers to entry, provide meaningful training and remediation, and support individuals navigating high-stress, high-responsibility professions by offering educational resources, mentorship, and financial assistance.

Through community partnerships, transparent instruction, and outcome-focused programs, Chase the Horizon works to strengthen the public safety workforce, improve retention, and ensure capable, motivated individuals are not lost due to preventable financial or systemic obstacles.

What We Do

  • Chase the Horizon supports individuals pursuing careers in public safety and emergency medical services by removing unnecessary barriers to education and professional certification.

    We provide free skills coaching, remediation, and mentorship for students and early-career professionals, with a focus on practical competency, clear feedback, and real-world readiness.

    Through community donations and partnerships, we offer financial assistance for required testing, retesting, and training costs, and uniforms. Ensuring capable individuals are not forced out of the profession due to financial hardship or lack of access to support.

    We work alongside educators, testing centers, and public safety agencies to strengthen workforce retention, improve training outcomes, and support those committed to serving their communities.
